Stars and Stripes Forever A friend of mine has designed his own web site remembering the G.I.Joe Universe. The site provides an opportunity to remember your favorite Joes. You can interact in Mission Logs and surveys about the Joe Universe. It is complete with official Cobra and Joe bios plus hundreds of pictures from the comics and cartoons. If you like to reminisce about the days when you visited your best friend's house to play G.I.Joe, this site will take you back.

Short Stories Collection This on-line collection has between 50-100 classic short stories from various known authors. The webmaster has carefully selected the short stories to keep the quality of the stories high. You can also submit a short story to the webmaster and possibly get it added to the collection. If you don't feel like going to the library anytime soon, you won't need to. This site can take care of your storytelling needs.

Apple Quicktime -- Site referred by Jeff Coburn This link off from Apple computer's main site (which, by itself, is a wealth of information on Apple news and products), offers the best in on-line movie trailers, concert footage, and special events. All you need is QuickTime 4.0 (or whatever the newest version is)---downloadable for Mac or Windows platforms FOR FREE (got to like the price) Television programming is also available through QuickTime. Who knows: maybe someday you'll be watching reruns of Seinfeld or Drew Carey over the'net in QuickTime!

Stephen King The world's best horror writer is now on-line. At this web site, you can stay updated on all the official Stephen King information. It includes information on all of King's past works plus information on King's newest projects.

Spawn On-line Spawn is the coolest comic character on earth; this website takes you through the entire Spawn world and more. The best section of the site is the comic book section; however, it has information about all TMP (Todd McFarlane Productions) products (movies, toys, animation). Check out the amazing art and story that acompany one of the world's coolest comic characters.

Great Outdoor Recreation Pages For those of you interested in hiking or anything outdoors for that matter, go to this website. It has a nice layout to plan trips with information on just about every activity possible. Many outdoor articles are written for the site each month making it similar to buying a regular outdoor magazine.

"Red Beard's" Appalachian Adventure Another site for the hikers viewing my site. This is a really cool site where "Red Beard" describes his thru-hike along the Appalachian Trail. He hiked the 2,000+ mile long trail for about 4 months and on this site, he details his experience in his journal and describes the equipment that worked and didn't work. It is the perfect site for those who have the dream of hiking the trail someday (like me).

Trivia On-line For those of you who can't get enough from the Big Questions section, this web site allows you to play Jeopardy, Trivial Pursuit, and Wheel of Fortune on-line. It is a great opportunity to test your trivia skills against others, and there is even a chance to win money (if you're good enough). Unfortunately, no "Who wants to be a Millionaire" yet.

Games On-line This site lets you play some classic games on the internet. Much like I tried to do with my games section, it provides various java game applets (which are downloadable) such as PacMan and Asteroids. You can play the games on-line or download them to put on your web site.

Java Boutique The Java Boutique provides many applets to do just about anything you want with your web site. Often, including these applets will liven up your web site and probably get more visitors to your site. The PacWars game from my website is from the Java Boutique. They have everything from games to animated banners, and everything is freely available.
